Gears of War over Hamachi Guide
######################

To play gears of war on LAN over hamachi, Windows Live must be disabled
ingame GFW.

First download my GFW private servers(14mb). It has all the files needed to MOD your GFW setup.

Next open the warengine.rar with winrar, and extract it to your GFW programs folder.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears of War







When it ask if you want to overwrite existing files, Click on "yes to all"

To do all of this in one step use the GFW hamachi fix client.



1.Install Hamachi Fix.
2.Input your desired name, then click on change name.

Lastly you will need to add this registery file so that hamachi adpter will be forced ingame instead of your main connection.

Start your game offline, Disable your main connection adpter and leave hamachi adpter and hamachi client up to reconnect.



Open GFW game, and wait till your at the main menu.

If your going to host a game stay offline, go into versus or coop and open host local game.

After your game has started you may Alt -tab out.

Push Alt + tab to minimize GFW window. now re - enable your main connection adpter and wait to reconnect on hamachi client.



Once your hamachi client has loaded the server and other peers, you may go back into the game.

To connect to a host ip. Hit the "~" tilt key and use the console command.

open 5.145.18.146



after inputing the host ip hit enter , if the host and your hamachi ip is used ingame and have no firewall problems the game should start.

Hi
I wanna know if this trick still works? because i 've update my game to 1.2 & another GFW certification patch(without it game doesn't work). Whenever i try to update the HAMACHI fix, it says that the version didn't match. Can u sort this out for me please!?
I just wanna play the Campaign with my buddy.
